How and Where

This quest is started in Skysong, at the Celan Herald (-80, -110). It requires a 6 person party of the same Tier. Both ascended and non-ascended players can be in the party, as long as they are in the same Tier.

For instance:

  • Tier 1: Levels 15 - 44
  • Tier 2: Levels 45 - 74
  • Tier 3: Levels 75 - 104
  • Tier 4: Levels 105 - 134
  • Tier 5: Levels 135 - 150

Rewards

The quest may be done 17 times a day.

Rewards after each successful completion:

  • 1: 5 Taichi and Eera herb randomly
  • 2: 10 Taichi and Eera herb randomly
  • 3: 15 Taichi and Eera herb randomly
  • 4: 25 Taichi and Eera herb randomly
  • 5: 45 Taichi and randomly - 100 merit, Dragonfang, Pearl Grape, Best Blood Wine (medium) and probably more

After the quest has been completed 5 times, the reward counter resets. It's possible to get over 300 Taichi daily from this quest! It's also possible to get actual espers as a reward.

If a party member disconnects, the rest can continue.

How it's done

The party leader should be at the NPC while the rest of the party spreads out to the esper spawn points.

Once everyone is ready, the party leader should take the quest. This will trigger a few quests that transform all party members into G18 pets and check the event repeat count. After you transform, you can't use mounts, but you can use haste skills.

After the popups, there will be 2 quests left in your Quest Log. The first quest tells you what kind of esper you are hunting, and its location. Don't worry about the 5 minutes mentioned in that quest.

The second quest counts your kills. You'll have 10 minutes to find and destroy the Esper marked with the group leader's name.

Everyone should use the new skill they receive when they transform. Each transform is strong against different espers. Normally you will deal 400 damage, but against the correct esper, you will deal 1000 damage. You can use damage necklaces and pets to increase your damage as well.
