Marriage - Jade Dynasty Wiki
Introduction
In Jade Dynasty, male and female characters can get married to each other.
Marriage Benefits
- Online notice: You will be notified when your spouse is online/offline.
- Embrace: You can Embrace your spouse (the male carrying the female).
- Intimate: You will be able to perform intimate actions (kissing) with your spouse.
- Romance Skills: These skills will be available and can be leveled using Romance points, allowing you to teleport to your spouse's side as well as help them out.
Getting Married
In order to get married, both characters must have a Wedding Ring in their inventory, which can be obtained by:
- Completing Romance Quests until both characters have 9999 Romance points, then spend those points on Wedding Rings.
- Opening Wedding Packs found on the Marketplace (each wedding pack contains one ring, a wedding fashion set, either ♂ or ♀ depending on which wedding pack you handed in to Eldest Matchmaker, and a scroll that grants a special marriage title when used).
Once both characters possess a Wedding Ring, they should form a party with the male character as the leader. Both characters can then acquire the marriage quest from The Eldest Matchmaker in Sunstream City. After the male character turns in the quest, they will be married.
Marriage Ceremony
Upon getting married, a server-wide message is broadcast, congratulating the newlyweds and stating the names of the two players. At the same time, both players will get a gender-specific marriage title, <xxxx's Prince> for males and <xxxx's Princess> for females (xxxx represents your spouse's name) as well as a Marriage Ring. You can also purchase fireworks from the Marketplace or Valentine's Day Rose Bundle from Wonderland Fair (conjures a rose petal rain in Sunstream City) to make the day more beautiful.
Divorce
Married players can also get divorced. When a couple is divorced, the player who initiated the divorce has their romance skills reset back to 0, and they will be given the title "Loved and Lost" as well.
