Clans
Clans are the basic organization that provide players with a circle of colleagues to socialize with. Clans are frequently made up of players who know each other in real life, though mixed groups are not uncommon. Clans also provide their members benefits such as Clan Skills and Clan-specific quests. The leader of a Clan is called the Chief.
Clans can hold a maximum of 15 characters, but Clans can form Alliances with other Clans in order to work together with a larger number of players.
A character must be at least level 20 to join a Clan.
If you haven't yet found a Clan to join by the time you are level 25, you can form one yourself. Talk to the Clan Master and select the Form Clan option to establish your Clan. Input a valid name for the Clan (up to 8 characters in length), pay the fee of 5 gold, and the Clan is formed.
As a Clan Chief, you have the ability to:
- Add Members: Invite other players to the Clan.
- Banish Members: Banish members from the Clan.
- Change Slogan: Change the slogan of the Clan, viewable by all Clan members.
- Pass Leadership: Pass the Chief position to a Clan member. This action reduces Clan Skills by 1 rank each time it is performed. (Does not apply to Shared Fortune Clan Skills, will only reduce the skill's percentage (%) to zero)
- Dismiss Clan: Dismiss the Clan.
Note: Because only the Clan Chief can invite new members, it is not possible for the Clan Chief's alternate characters that share the same account to join the Clan unless they pass leadership to another person temporarily. This should be done when the Clan Skills are still at level 1, so as not to lose any progress.
Clans do not have ranks themselves, but the four Clan Skills can be upgraded via special quests. For information on how to upgrade your Clan Skills, please see the Upgrading Clan page.
Clans can also gain additional privileges and bonuses through Clan Glory. Clan Glory accumulated by a given clan is shown through "stars" beside the Clan name.
