Fishing Introduction
Fishing is one of the best ways for new players to make money in Jade Dynasty. Some fish can sell for over 1 gold each, providing a significant boost to your finances.
While you may not always catch the most valuable fish, even the 35 silver fish can improve your purchasing power.
Fishing Schedule / Getting Bait
In Jade Dynasty, fishing opportunities are available throughout the day, making it accessible for players with varying schedules. You can obtain bait during specific time periods:
- 12:00 p.m to 01:00 a.m
- 08:00 a.m to 09:00 a.m
- 12:00 a.m to 01:00 p.m
- 03:00 p.m to 04:00 p.m
- 06:00 p.m to 07:00 p.m
- 09:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m
To get bait, speak to Ami in Sunstream City (126,150) and accept the quest "Fishing Bait" during these times.
Fishing Locations / How to Fish
Once you have bait, head to the corresponding fishing pole:
- Earth Worm Bait: Lotus Pool in Sunstream City (129, 107)
- Preserved Bait: Sol River, south of Sunstream City (167, -162)
- Red Worm Bait: Serenity Clearing, far south in the Sunstream region (50, -390)
- Rice Worm Bait: Fountainhead Hollows lake, northern Sunstream region (-80, 430)
Click on the pole to use the bait. After the progress bar reaches 100%, the bait and fishing pole will disappear, and you'll receive a random item. The pole reappears shortly for reuse.
