Induction

If you have friends, family, or casual acquaintances that you feel would enjoy Jade Dynasty, now is the time to get them on board! Referring your posse via the Induction Agent promises fruitful rewards for all sides involved. Everyone truly comes out a winner!

How Induction Works

First, you must be Level 60 or higher to do business with the Induction Agent. If you meet this requirement, pay a visit to the Agent in either Sunstream City (184, 174) or Divine Realm (264, -450).

Select "Get Induction Info" to open up the following panel:

Pressing the "Copy ID" button will copy your induction ID to the clipboard, allowing you to paste it wherever you want to make it easier for your inductees to find. Many people like to paste their induction ID into their forum signature.

When your friend creates a new account, the first character they create on a server will have a box to enter the induction ID. They simply need to copy-paste your ID into this box when creating their character. They will now be marked as your inductee.

Note: The field to enter an Inductor ID is only available when creating the first character on a new account - be careful so that you do not miss this opportunity. It is possible to enter the induction ID again if all characters are deleted completely, however.

Once the induction ID has been entered correctly, all future characters created on that server will be linked to the inductor's account. Note that this process only applies to characters on that server -- if you create characters on a different server in the future, those characters will need to use a different induction ID.

Induction Bonuses

Induction has bonuses for both the inductor and the inductee:

  • Inductees receive a special Brocade Box, which they may open every 5 levels to receive beneficial items, such as potions and temporary mounts, very similar to the Treasure Chest that all new characters start with.
  • Any time the inductee gains a level, a small amount of bonus experience is granted to the inductor.
  • Any time the inductee spends Jaden in the Marketplace, 3% of that amount will be granted to the inductor as Bonus Jaden that can be spent in the Bonus Shop. (The amount of this Bonus Jaden that the inductor can take is limited by the inductee's level, until the inductee ascends.)
  • When your inductee gains levels from 120 to 150 the inductor will gain Bonus Jaden.
  • Total Amount from LV120-LV150: 54G 25S Bonus Jaden
  • Total Amount from Ascended LV120-LV150: 108G 50S Bonus Jaden

Note: Bonus Jaden cannot be spent in the regular Marketplace. Regular Jaden cannot be spent in the Bonus Shop.

The Inductor may claim this bonus experience and Jaden by selecting "View Inductees" when speaking with an Induction Agent.

Note: Inductees must be online in order for the Inductor to acquire their bonus experience or Jaden.

Once the inductee reaches level 120, they will start granting Bonus Jaden to their inductor every time they gain a level, without needing to spend any Jaden in the Marketplace.

Under the "Bonus Jaden" column, there are four numbers: W/X/Y (+Z)

  • W = How much Bonus Jaden you can take right now (numbers are in Silver Jaden, so every 100 here is 1 Gold Bonus Jaden) as limited by your Inductee's level.
  • X = How much Bonus Jaden your inductee has earned for you that you have not yet taken. Includes Bonus Jaden earned from secondary inductees.
  • Y = The total amount of Bonus Jaden that your inductee has earned for you, including what you have already taken and what you have not. Includes Bonus Jaden earned from secondary inductees.
  • Z = The total amount of Bonus Jaden that your inductee's inductees have earned for you.

If there is a zero in the first column, but a number in the second column, your inductee needs to level up more in order for you to get the rest of the Bonus Jaden. If the first two numbers are both zero, then you do not have any pending Bonus Jaden, and your inductee will need to level up past 120 or spend Jaden in the Marketplace in order for you to get more Bonus Jaden.

The "Bonus EXP" section is similar, except that Bonus EXP is not limited based on level: X/Y (+Z)

  • X = How much Bonus Experience you can take right now.
  • Y = The total amount of Bonus Experience your inductee has earned for you. Includes Bonus Experience earned from secondary inductees.
  • Z = The total amount of Bonus Experience that your inductee's inductees have earned for you.

If the first number is a zero, your inductee will need to level up more in order to earn more Bonus Experience for you.

Secondary Inductees

Once your inductees reach Level 60, they may become an inductor themselves, by following the same process.

When your inductees take earned Bonus Jaden or Experience from their inductees, the original inductor earns 1/3 of that amount as Bonus Jaden for themselves. For example, if your inductee inducts a second player, and that player spends 100 Jaden on the Marketplace, your inductee will earn 3 Gold Bonus Jaden. When they take those 3 Gold Bonus Jaden from the Induction window, you will earn 1 Gold Bonus Jaden.

This continues down the chain, so if the second-generation inductee inducts someone else, and that person inducts someone else, you can earn Bonus Jaden from them too, at a 1/3 loss for each player it passes through on the way to you.

You will not get these extra bonuses until your inductee takes it from the View Inductees window.
