Factions
Now there are fifteen factions in Jade Dynasty: The Human factions: Vim, Lupin, Jadeon, Skysong, Modo, and Incense Mage; The Athan factions: Balo, Arden, Celan, Rayan, Forta, and Voida; Last, The Etherkin factions: Psychea, Kytos, and Hydran.
Which faction you choose to join has an enormous impact on your experience in Jade Dynasty. Your Faction determines what skills and gear are available to you, as well as determining your perceived role in society. While each faction can stand well on its own, in combination they are far more powerful.
Humans can choose their faction upon reaching level 15 by completing the quest from Tanis Ka in Sunstream City. Athan and Etherkin choose their faction during character creation.
