    <h2>Balo Skill Tree</h2>
    <p>Balo skills are mostly Axe-based melee attacks that cause a variety of Status Effects. Most Balo builds are based upon increasing the power of one of the two main Tier 5 attacks: Powerful Aid and Durable Fighter. The damage and effect strength of these two attacks is based entirely on how many skill points the Balo has spent in certain skills in previous tiers.</p>
    <ul>
      <li><b>Powerful Aid</b>: Causes a Slow, Weaken, Paralyze, and Stun. Based on Ranks of skills on the left side of the skill tree: Ordeal, Dark Injury, Twisting Dragon, and Sky Rift.</li>
      <li><b>Durable Fighter</b>: Causes a Silence, Defense and Resistance reduction, and Disarm. Based on ranks of skills on the right side of the skill tree: Tailslip, Penetrator, Shatterer, and Blade Breaker.</li>

    <h3 id="Tier_1">Tier 1</h3>

      <li>Hard Blow: 6 Ranks. Basic melee attack that deals a large amount of extra damage when the caster is below level 30.</li>
      <li>Finesse: 6 Ranks. Passively increases Max Health and out-of-combat Health Regeneration.</li>
      <li>Muscle Repulse: 3 Ranks. Passively increases Attack Power.</li>
      <li>Ordeal: 9 Ranks. Melee attack that reduces the target's movement speed for a short time.</li>
      <li>Tiger Maw: 5 Ranks. Increases the Attack Power of caster and all party members for 30 minutes.</li>
      <li>Scoff: 7 Ranks. Increases the caster's Defense for a short time and has a chance to force a non-player target to attack the caster.</li>
      <li>Potent: 8 Ranks. Increases the caster's movement speed for a short time and has a chance to remove a Weaken effect.</li>
      <li>Furious Roar: 9 Ranks. Causes non-player targets to run in fear for a short time, or weakens player targets.</li>
      <li>Vigor: 6 Ranks. Passively increase Max Spirit and out-of-combat Spirit Regeneration.</li>
      <li>Flanker: 3 Ranks. Passively increases Defense.</li>
      <li>Tailslip: 9 Ranks. Melee attack that interrupts the target's skill casting and Silences it for a short time.</li>
      <li>Calm Wind: 5 Ranks. Increases the Max Health of the caster and all party members for 30 minutes.</li>

      <li>Nothingness Walk: 3 Ranks. Leap forward with high speed, with a chance to remove slow effects.</li>
      <li>Thunderbolt: 9 Ranks. Strikes four targets near the caster, Weakening each of them.</li>
      <li>Tiger Defense: 3 Ranks. Posture that increases Defense while reducing Attack Power.</li>
      <li>Penetrator: 9 Ranks. Melee attack that reduces the target's Defense for a short time.</li>
      <li>Blood Bathed: 5 Ranks. Passively increases Stun and Weaken Resistance.</li>

      <li>Mountain Wind: 9 Ranks. Melee attack that strikes two targets.</li>
      <li>Oubliette Break: 5 Ranks. Passively increases CritStrike Bonus.</li>
      <li>Twisting Dragon: 9 Ranks. Melee attack that Paralyzes the target.</li>
      <li>Dragon's Light: 5 Ranks. Increases the Attack Power of the caster and all party members for 10 minutes. Does not stack with Tiger Maw.</li>
      <li>Tiger Smash: 3 Ranks. Weakens a single target. If the Weaken is successfully applied, the target will also be Slowed.</li>
      <li>Furious Roar: 9 Ranks. Forces all nearby non-player targets to attack the caster, and increases the caster's Defense for a short time.</li>
      <li>Vilen: 5 Ranks. Passively increases CritShield.</li>
      <li>Shatterer: 9 Ranks. Melee attack that reduces the target's Resistances.</li>
      <li>Ambition: 5 Ranks. Increases the Max Health of the caster and all party members for 10 minutes. Does not stack with Calm Wind.</li>

      <li>Combat Spirit: 5 Ranks. Posture that increases CritStrike Rate and CritStrike Bonus, and causes a portion of the Spirit cost of skills to be paid in Health instead.</li>
      <li>Sky Rift: 9 Ranks. Melee attack that Stuns the target.</li>
      <li>Slaughter: 9 Ranks. Melee attack that has a chance to instantly kill the target if its Health is low. Ineffective against targets that are immune to Bleed effects.</li>
      <li>War Song: 8 Ranks. Array effect that increases the movement speed of all nearby party members every 5 seconds.</li>
      <li>Song of Antipathy: 9 Ranks. Strikes four targets near the caster, and Stuns them for a short time.</li>
      <li>Iron Guts: 5 Ranks. Posture that increases CritNull and CritShield, and causes a portion of damage caused to remove Spirit instead.</li>
      <li>Blade Breaker: 9 Ranks. Melee attack that has a chance to disarm the target.</li>
      <li>Spirited: 5 Ranks. Passively increases Sleep and Silence resistance.</li>
