    <h2>Modo Skill Tree</h2>
    <p>Modo Skills are organized in a way that makes it easy to tell them apart:</p>
    <ul>
      <li>Skills that require Human Form are in the central column, alongside some passive skills that work for every character.</li>
      <li>Skills that require Demonic Posture are in the right column.</li>
      <li>Skills that require Modon Form are in the left column. Note: Because the character cannot learn Modon Form until Tier 2, the Tier 1 skills in the left column are self-buffs that can be used in any form.</li>
    </ul>
    <p>Most Modo skill builds are focused on learning skills for only one or two of these forms.</p>

    <h3 id="Tier_1">Tier 1</h3>

      <li>Fiendish Bone: 9 Ranks. Human Form. Single target close-range attack.</li>
      <li>Ghoulish Night: 5 Ranks. All Forms. Increases caster's movement speed and all resistances for a short time.</li>
      <li>Primary Evil: 9 Ranks. All Forms. Increases caster's Max Spirit for 10 minutes.</li>
      <li>Arsenopyrite: 9 Ranks. Human Form. Multi-target close-range attack.</li>
      <li>Soaked Earth: 9 Ranks. Human Form. Multi-target close-range attack with a chance to cause a bleed effect for extra damage.</li>
      <li>Endless Shadows: 5 Ranks. Passively increases Evasion.</li>
      <li>Demonic Posture: 8 Ranks. Use this skill to transform into Demonic Posture, enabling the use of a different set of skills, and increasing Max Health, Attack Power, and Defense while lowering all Resistances.</li>
      <li>Spectre's Paw: 10 Ranks. Demonic Posture. Single target close-range attack with a chance to cause a Weaken effect.</li>
      <li>Soul Gnash: 10 Ranks. Demonic Posture. Single-target close-range attack that deals more damage to targets that are low on Health.</li>
      <li>Upheld Oath: Renders the caster immune to sleep and stun for a brief period of time. Recovers a fraction of HP, based on the caster's current SP.</li>
    </ul>

    <h3 id="Tier_2">Tier 2</h3>

    <ul>
      <li>Chaotic Whirlwind: 9 Ranks. Human Form. Multi-target close-range attack that has a chance to reduce the affected targets' Attack Power for a short time.</li>
      <li>Charge: 3 Ranks. All Forms. Causes the caster to leap forward at high speed, with a chance to reset the cooldowns of Ghoulish Night, Secluded Resentment, Nimble Spirit, Ember Prison, Bloodcurdling Curse, Bloodstained Soul, and Self-Righteousness.</li>
      <li>Modon Form: 8 Ranks. Use this skill to transform into Modon Form, enabling the use of a different set of skills, and increasing Max Spirit, Attack Power, and Resistances while lowering Defense.</li>
      <li>Malignant Erosion: 12 Ranks. Modon Form. Single-target long-range attack that has a chance to cause a bleed effect for extra damage.</li>
      <li>Death's Charm: 12 Ranks. Modon Form. Single-target long-range attack that has a chance to poison the target for extra damage, and a chance to cause a random negative effect if the target is low on Health.</li>
      <li>Formidable Opponent: 6 Ranks. Passively increases Attack Power.</li>
      <li>Verbal Assault: 9 Ranks. Human Form. Multi-target close range attack that has a chance to reduce the affected targets' Accuracy for a short time.</li>
      <li>Secluded Spring: 8 Ranks. Demonic Posture. Increases Paralyze resistance for a short time by lowering all other resistances.</li>
      <li>Restrained Resentment: 8 Ranks. Demonic Posture. Prevents the use of normal attacks for a short time in order to increase skill damage and grant immunity to silence effects.</li>
      <li>Worn Evil: 10 Ranks. Demonic Posture. Single-target close-range attack that has a chance to disarm the target.</li>
    </ul>

    <h3 id="Tier_3">Tier 3</h3>

      <li>Violent Breeze: 9 Ranks. Human Form. Multi-target close-range attack that has a chance to reduce the affected targets' Defense for a short time.</li>
      <li>Nimble Spirit: 9 Ranks. Modon Form. Causes the caster's attacks to restore Spirit based on the amount of damage dealt. A percent of damage taken by the caster over the duration will be dealt to Spirit instead of Health.</li>
      <li>Snake Bind: 12 Ranks. Modon Form. Single-target ranged attack that has a chance to poison the target for extra damage and/or reduce all of their Resistances.</li>
      <li>Bloodcurdling Curse: 8 Ranks. Modon Form. Increases Stun resistance for a short time by lowering all other resistances.</li>
      <li>Soul Contract: 6 Ranks. Passively increases all resistances.</li>
      <li>Bonesmelt Stinger: 9 Ranks. Human Form. Multi-target close range attack that has a chance to cause a bleed effect for extra damage, and decreasing the movement speed of all affected targets.</li>
      <li>Ghost of the Wronged: 10 Ranks. Demonic Posture. Reduces the Defense and damage dealt by a single target for a short time. Reduces target's CritNull at rank 10.</li>
      <li>Ember Prison: 10 Ranks. Demonic Posture. Reduces the Max Health of both the caster and all enemy targets nearby for a short time.</li>
      <li>Surprise Assault: 10 Ranks. Demonic Posture. Single target close-range attack that strikes twice, with a chance to cause a Stun effect.</li>

    <h3 id="Tier_4">Tier 4</h3>

      <li>Sand Screen: 9 Ranks. Human Form. Multi-target close-range attack.</li>
      <li>Firestone Will: 9 Ranks. Modon Form. Increases the caster's Attack Power for a short time, while dealing damage to the caster and decreasing their Defense gradually.</li>
      <li>Spiritual Charm: 12 Ranks. Modon Form. Single target ranged attack that causes a bleed effect for extra damage, with a chance to prevent the target from using potions for a short time.</li>
      <li>Miasmic Frenzy: 6 Ranks. Human Form. Array Effect that curses a large number of enemy targets nearby every 5 seconds, increasing the damage they take and decreasing their Attack Power.</li>
      <li>Shadowheart Umbra: 6 Ranks. Passively increases CritStrike Bonus.</li>
      <li>Vile Edict: 9 Ranks. Human Form. Multi-target close-range attack that deals extra damage to targets that are near full health.</li>
      <li>Bloodstained Soul: 9 Ranks. Demonic Posture. Causes the caster's attacks to have a chance to restore Health based on damage caused.</li>
      <li>Flesh Burn: 8 Ranks. Demonic Posture. Causes all targets nearby to lose Spirit. If they do not have enough Spirit, they will lose Health instead.</li>
      <li>Forest of Laughter: 10 Ranks. Demonic Posture. Single-target close range attack that strikes three times, with a chance to reduce the target's Attack Power.</li>

    <h3 id="Tier_5">Tier 5</h3>

      <li>Kangba Extinction: 6 Ranks. Human Form. Multi-target long-range attack centered on the caster that strikes three times with an increased CritStrike Bonus, increasing the caster's Evasion for a short time, with a chance to Weaken affected targets and a chance to remove a small amount of their Spirit.</li>
      <li>Sky Seeker: 2 Ranks. Modon Form. Multi-target long range attack that deals damage over a long duration based on the target's Max Health, with a chance to inflict a random negative effect, a chance to remove all of the target's Spirit, and a chance to reduce the target's Defense for a short time.</li>
      <li>Self-Righteousness: 5 Ranks. Demonic Posture. Increases the caster's Attack Power, Max Health, Max Spirit, and Defense for a short time.</li>
      <li>Dance of Chaos: 4 Ranks. Demonic Posture. Single-target close range attack that strikes four times with increasing CritStrike rate, with a chance to decrease the target's CritStrike Rate, a chance to decrease the target's Max Spirit, a chance to silence the target, and a chance to decrease the target's Evasion.</li>
